Due to the excellent order situation and continuous growth, we are now searching an experienced Program Buyer (f/m/x) for the plant in Upper Austria.
Your Main Tasks:
- You manage the contractual relationship between the engineering and suppliers
- You lead regular reporting of purchasing performance for the programs
- You run deep analysis of RFQs from approved suppliers to support production and pre-production requirements
- You lead cost improvement ideas to implement strategies directly to all internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive cost reductions
- You maintain permanent and direct contact with the suppliers
- You attend and lead workshops for purchasing continuous improvement
- You lead sourcing decisions in order to optimize price, delivery and payment terms in line with purchasing strategy
Your Qualification and Experience:
- Educational background in Engineering, Master, or similar from a University, University of Applied Science or Technical College
- Experience in procurement activities in the electronic or automotive industry
- Know-how in the supplier management in procurement strategies and processes
- Expertise in R&D projects and processes
- Experience in the handling of international suppliers
- Fluent English skills, German language skills are an add on
- Driving licence B
